Karin Vasseur a guidance counselor that did the moral thing and report to a parent the abuse of GWA. In doing so she was fired with false accusations. This sadden us...
I guess doing the right thing has cost her her job and got her kid out of school in the middle of the school year.
She was accused of helping this site which she did not do. We did however ask for her help in providing proof against GWA and she declined our request, stating that she has an ongoing case against GWA about her wrongful termination of employment.
So the people of Les Enfants du Maroc contacted several parents who agreed to share their feelings about Karin Vasseur.
As you can see in this site we have proven the abuse and the proselytism that is happening at GWA and everything she told the parent of the abused child turned out to be true. Yet GWA is doing everything from letting her get a job. They

Below are the testimonials people that cared to tell what happened
Karine Vasseur, confronted to a difficult situation, made the exemplary choice to think of the children first. When she was face to face with the majority of the faculty and staff who were actively and passively taking part in the manipulation of a young boy's mind, she did not back down from her position to remove the child from school. Never in this kind of situation have I seen such display of principle, value, and selflessness, as she was devoted not solely to the job she was paid for, but to the educational duty she was entrusted in.

I have had the chance to know Karine Vasseur as she was my daughter's guidance counselor. Throughout her experience in G.W.A., as a counselor and as an educator, Karine Vasseur has always shown her sense of professionalism, ethics, and responsibility, even when the circumstances were against her. During the scandal that hit George Washington Academy, Karine Vasseur did not seek out journalists, contrarily to the administration that not only contacted the press, but purposely spread damaging misinformation regarding Ms. Vasseur.

I am a Moroccan Arabic teacher in George Washington Academy, and I've been able to witness over several years the religious agenda that the administration is pushing behind the cover of education. I have not had the courage to stand up against my supervisors, who are influencing children at all ages in the hopes of converting them to Christianity. Miss Vasseur, on the other hand, has had the strength to stand up for what she believes in: an education where students could study freely, not influenced by somebody's religion, and where students could be treated as equals, regardless of faith. I applaud Miss Vasseur's efforts, as she has given up everything to save the students of GWA, rather than staying silent in order to keep her job.
A teacher
We have been studying at George Washington Academy for five, six, and eight years, respectively. We were there when Mme Vasseur first started working here, as a French teacher, and we were there when she left the school for what she believed in. During her time at George Washington, Mme Vasseur has always been friendly to students. Other adjectives that come to mind when thinking of Mme Vasseur are fun, devoted, and fair. When a 12 year old student was being manipulated into Christianity by some other teachers, Mme Vasseur refused to sit back, and instead did what had to be done. She talked to the parents of the student, and they agreed to take him out of school. As students of this school, we want to thank Mme Vasseur for everything she has done. When nobody else wanted to do anything, she stood up for the well-being of a young child in need. Thank you Mme Vasseur!
